Welcome to Core Health Chiropractic

Hi Everyone,

Just a welcome to Core Health Chiropractic from the technical webmaster; the guy looking after the site, doing the design and so fourth. Our website and internet marketing strategy was designed by awesome website design, a Sunshine Coast based web designer.

At the time we launched the site at the end of May 2013 we did not have any posts. However, we will be adding rich chiropractic-based content as time permits so our patients, and anyone interested, can understand more about the techniques we use, how they work and more importantly how they can benefit you. Its all about health, if we don’t have that life can be challenging.

During early October 2013 we made a major over-haul to the site, basically changing its one-page design into a more conventional site with more content. We did this after using Google analytics for a while which showed our customers were not staying on the site very long, that is, we have a high bounce rate. So now we expect that to change as customers have more information useful to their condition/requirements.

For those interested, this site is based on the WordPress Content Management System. We use a modern responsive theme allowing the site to be visible on all devices, smart-phones, dick-trac style smart-watches, tablets, notebooks, laptops and of course desktops. These days most people use their smart-phones more that other devices (60-70% of us do according to Google research). How it works is simple, every object on the page is given a priority. Depending on the device, some or all will show at one one. On a large screen (1024px or more), you get everything. On a small screen like an android phone, you get the highest priority object in full size, then as you scroll down you get the next. Its a compromise between an app and viewing a full-sized webpage on a small screen. The WordPress Content Management System is used because it allows us to use the latest technology without even knowing it. It is a framework that we build one, like building a house. WordPress is the foundation and frame. The Theme is the wall and roof. And website design is everything else, the finishing touches.
